Journey through Ladakh, Rajasthan and Mussoorie
As a follow up to my highly successful Journey through Rajasthan and Kashmir (enriching experiences and fun) this trip includes exploration of the ancient cultural history of Ladakh, with day walks and visits to remote settlements and Buddhist monasteries before travelling to Rajasthan. We spend four days in Bikaner exploring the margins of the Thar desert before heading north to Rishikesh and the renowned hill station of Mussoorie to savour unrivalled views of the snow capped Himalaya. In Ladakh we stay in comfortable family run hotels while in Bikaner and Mussoorie we stay in heritage listed palace hotels to ensure unsurpassed experiences.

In the Search of the Snow Leopard
An unrivalled opportunity to track the legendry snow leopard. Accompanied wildlife guides from the Snow Leopard Conservancy (Ladakh) the trip includes five days exploring the ridges and valleys above the Rumbak Valley as well as three days exploration of the remote Hemis Shukpachan Valley – both recognised for optimum snow leopard sightings. In addition the trip offers a rare glimpse into Ladakh’s rich cultural history while experiencing the raw, winter landscape of Ladakh.

Remote Ladakh
My Remote Ladakh trek will surpass expectations.The trek winds through remote Buddhist settlements and summer grazing camps that afford the opportunity to explore side valleys as we gradually make our way to the base of the Lasermo La. The pass crossing is one of the most exhilarating traverses across the rugged Ladakh range with unparalled views that stretch north to the East Karakoram. On completing the trek we savour the rich Buddhist culture of Alchi, Lamayuru and Likir monasteries before returning to Leh.
